Après "Maigret tend un piège", qui a réuni près de 3.400.000 télespectateurs, il s'agit donc d'un nouveau téléfilm produit par les Britanniques pour la chaîne ITV et tourné à Budapest (Hongrie). "Maigret et son mort" passera dimanche à 20h55 sur France 3.
Bonne nouvelle: le comédien Rowan Atkinson a déjà signé pour deux épisodes supplémentaires — que l'on verra ultérieurement.

Viens de le voir . J'ai bien aimé. Atkinson a un jeu en retenue pas du tout désagréable, et j'ai bien regardé la Dunhill !

Celle qu il a au bec ou celles de sa table de salon sur un tourniquet que sa femme s empresse de reculer dès qu il souhaite se décontracter alors qu il est prit par un gros rhume...
J aime l histoire mais je n accroche pas trop à Atkinson, cela dit, cette histoire était un peu plus recherchée que la précédente.

Bon, je vais faire mon rabat-joie. Je n'aime pas du tout ces versions anglaises du commissaire Maigret. Non pas que je me plaigne du jeu de Rowan Atkinson, il n'est pas mauvais du tout et il est même assez crédible, bien qu'il ne me semble pas, à la façon de suçoter sa pipe, être un fumeur de bouffarde. Mais bon. Non, alors que j'adore les séries anglaises pour leur sérieux et leurs grandes qualités de réalisation, là je n'accroche pas du tout. L'adaptation des romans est un peu limite. Et pour l'ambiance et les accessoires c'est complétement à côté ! Je ne vais pas tout détailler, d'ailleurs j'en ai oublié. Mais dans ce second opus en voici quelques perles : La voiture de la Gendarmerie n'est pas d'un modèle qui a existé, la typographie du mot GENDARMERIE n'est pas du tout dans le style de l'époque, les gendarmes n'ont jamais eu de bâtons blancs (ceci étaient réservées aux forces de la Police nationale chargée de la circulation) et enfin, pour cette séquence, les gendarmes n'ont jamais été équipés de fusils de chasse ! Bien sûr ce ne sont que des détails, mais qui me chagrinent beaucoup dans une série qui se voulait être au top !

Je n'ai regardé que quelques minutes de ce nouvel opus pour l'instant mais ça me botte déjà plus que le précédent, en revanche je rejoins NeuveMaison, c'est sympathique mais il y a beaucoup trop d'imperfection pour que ça devienne réellement une bonne série.
En passant, l'un d'entre vous aurait-il pu mettre la main sur les Maigrets japonais de 1978, Tôkyô Megure Keishi, français ou VOSTFR peu importe. Impossible de mettre la main dessus sur internet, cette série semble n'avoir jamais existé...

Moi je trouve ça pas mal, d'accord il y a des invraisemblances mais c'est le propre de toutes les séries policières.
En revanche l'atmosphère de Simenon est bien là. je trouve que Rowan Atkinson à bien cerné le personnage et qu'il est bien aussi bon que Bruno Crémer ou Jean Richard, et que dire de Gabin qui faisait du Gabin.

Idem je n'ai vu que quelques minutes plus convaincantes que le précédent sans atteindre des sommets. Toujours un côté trop britidh, à voir en version complète pour me faire une véritable idée

Oui mais par rapport à d'autres ça fait beaucoup de petit défauts qui s'accumulent, en revanche je ne remets pas en cause la performance d'Atkinson qui fait un superbe Maigret, c'est plutôt la réalisation qui aurait des défauts.

ajoutons néanmoins le côté FBI et maffieux de la vêtures des flics et le manque d'engagement de Maigret qui, même si son jeu tout intérieur fait oublier Mr Binne, manque de contact avec les protagonistes de l'histoire. Ce à la différence d'un Bruno Cremer magistral qui se foutait de l'aspect judiciaire de l'affaire pour se consacrer à la recherche de la vérité et qui était sans cesse engagé dans un dialogue avec tout le monde.
C'est tout et c'est beaucoup, mais cela n'enlève rien à l'ensemble qui fait passer un bon moment.

On a donc eu "Maigret tend un piège" (sets a trap) pour débuter cette nouvelle mouture façon rosbif.
Peu de temps après a suivi "Maigret et son mort" ('s dead man) dont je suis en train de lire le livre (avant d'essayer de le visionner, n'ayant même pas encore pu visionner le premier, honte à moi).
Comme je l'avais dit plus haut, est en attente d'adaptation et de diffusion "La nuit du Carrefour" (crossroad's night).
Et le petit dernier est l'adaptation de "Maigret au Picratt's" (traduit simplement en "Maigret in Montmartre").
Mais que fait France télévision ?

La saison 1 ayant ete diffusée en février 2017 je table sur à peu près février 2018 pour la suite
